Tired? Lack of Energy? Fatigued?

If you don't have much energy, it's pretty certain that you are not feeling very well.

Lack of energy is a symptom of something else. Possible reasons are 

  • Nutrient deficiency. Without adequate amount of nutrients your body can't change food into the body's energy source; ATP. You may not be deficient in calories per se but you are not able to use your food intake for energy. This might be due to poor dietary choices or increased nutrient requirement due to stress or physical exercise. 

  • Low grade infection. You may not know it but you could have a hidden pathogenic virus, bacteria or parasite living in you. Pathogens have long been linked to conditions such as Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and can be a causative factor of auto immune conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. 

  • Poor dietary choices: A diet high in refined sugars depletes our body, causes blood sugar fluctuations and is a precursor to a host of chronic illnesses. 

  • Chronic pain. 

  • Stress

By finding out what is depleting your energy reserves, I can get to the root of the cause and treat the condition not the symptom.
